A Touch of Sicily in Bologna: LIBO Reimagines Beauty Packaging Through Color

At Cosmoprof Worldwide Bologna 2026, LIBO Cosmetics brought something different to the show floor: a beauty packaging story inspired by Sicily.

Bright yellows, Mediterranean blues, fresh citrus tones and expressive contrasts transformed familiar compact, lipstick and lip gloss packaging into a collection filled with energy and personality.

Why Sicily?

Because beauty packaging can create a feeling before the product is even opened. A playful combination can feel young and energetic. A softer palette can create a completely different mood. Combined with different decorative finishes, even the same packaging design can tell a new brand story.

For beauty brands, this creates an important opportunity: newness doesn't always have to begin with a new structure. Sometimes, a new color direction, decoration or finish can give an existing packaging platform an entirely new identity — creating fresh possibilities for seasonal collections, limited editions and new product launches.

Throughout the three days in Bologna, we were delighted to see how brands and visitors responded to the Sicily-inspired presentation, exchanging ideas around color, decoration and new ways to bring personality into cosmetic packaging.
