Injection moulding

Injection moulding is one of LIBO’s core manufacturing processes for delivering high-quality packaging.
It is widely applied in the production of compacts, lip gloss and lipstick packs, as well as skincare and fragrance caps and closures. This process enables the realization of sophisticated, complex, and precise components, while supporting high-volume, cost-efficient output with the flexibility for premium finishing.
LIBO’s in-house R&D and tooling center is equipped to design and manufacture IM and IBM tooling, ensuring faster development cycles, competitive speed-to-market, and full control over quality.

Bi-injection moulding

Bi-injection moulding is one of LIBO’s advanced manufacturing capabilities, allowing two colours or two materials to be combined in a single process. This technology is widely applied to create duo-coloured lipstick base-buttons for easy shade identification, adding both function and visual appeal.

In addition, bi-injection enables the development of innovative wipers that integratefirmness—for pull-force retention—with softness and flexibility, ensuring optimal wipingperformance for brushes and applicator tips.

Extrusion blow moulding

LIBO offers extrusion blow moulding (EBM) as an alternative manufacturing process, ideal for producing thin-walled bottles and tottles. While less complex than injection blow moulding, EBM is highly effective for packaging that requires multi-layer construction to enhance formula compatibility and product stability.

This technology is also well-suited for the manufacture of mascara and lip gloss bottles, providing brands with versatile options for functional and reliable packaging.

Metal pressing

LIBO’s metal pressing expertise focuses on forming premium aluminium components through deep impact extrusion, followed by a refined anodizing process that delivers a smooth and luxurious surface finish.

Customization possibilities are extensive — from colouring and texturing during anodization to incorporating unique embossed or debossed logos directly into the metal pressing process.

The cool touch and premium feel of aluminium elevate product perception, while LIBO’s flexible design capabilities allow brands to achieve distinctive, bespoke finishes across both stock and custom packaging ranges.

We work with major international names and rising beauty innovators across color cosmetics, skincare, and fragrance. By combining creativity, functionality, and eco-responsibility, LIBO helps brands bring their visions to life and stand out in today’s competitive market.

Many of LIBO’s stock ranges, such as the Hera and Rhea series, are designed with a recessed cover structure that accommodates a wide range of decorative top-plates, including flat plastic, dome, gel, textile, aluminum, and paper. This versatile feature offers brands a creative canvas to build distinctive packaging that reflects their identity. Available across eyeshadow, blusher, pressed powder, and larger compact sizes, LIBO’s compacts can also be customized into unique designs.

Beyond traditional materials, LIBO also provides the option to combine diverse elements for a more striking effect. Decorative top-plates can incorporate diamond-cut surfaces for a faceted jewel-like finish, premium leather for a couture touch, or soft silicone for playful and unexpected textures. These enhancements can be applied across both complete series and individual items, enabling brands to transform standard compacts, palettes, or other packs into signature designs that stand out on the shelf.

LIBO offers comprehensive secondary finishing expertise, with the capability to combine multiple processes to achieve sophisticated effects. For example, vacuum metallising followed by gradient spraying and finished with an ice-flower treatment creates a unique surface that integrates metallic brilliance, colour transitions, and crystalline textures.

Beyond this, LIBO can integrate a wide range of techniques such as metallising, matte or glossy spraying, transfer printing, and hot stamping. This multi-process capability enables brands to achieve highly customised finishes with distinctive aesthetics and premium quality, ensuring packaging solutions that truly differentiate in the market.
